The Shamrock Golf Course is a SOFT SPIKE FACILITY.

Golf Rules

R.C.G.A. Rules shall govern all play except for the following local rules.

1. Cultivated areas or young trees, you may improve your lie by 1 club length.

2. Free lift from all recognized walks and roadways.

3. Out of bounds - roadway along #5, white stakes right and left of #2, white stakes left of #3, garden right #6 - Penalty stroke plus distance.

4. Please show golf etiquette and AVOID SLOW PLAY.

5. REPAIR ALL BALL MARKS & DIVOTS.

6. REMAIN 30 YRDS. FROM GREENS WITH POWER CARTS.

White - out of bounds

Distance Markers:
Blue - 200 yrds.
Yellow - 150 yrds.
Green - 100 yrds.

Score Card:

Course Description:

1st Hole	Par 4, 286 - 304 yards. Out of bounds on right side.
	Short, straight away with roughs on right and left of fairway. Green sloping to front. A straight 250 yard drive will leave you with a 50 yard chip on to the green. Par-ing this one is a great start to your game.
2nd Hole	Par 4, 345 - 373 yards.
	A dog leg left with out of bounds on right and left of fairway and back of green. A tee shot of 170 - 190 yards to center of dog leg, avoiding the water trap, leaves a straight shot to a wide but shallow saucer like green. Remember a penalty stroke plus distance when hitting your ball out of bounds.
3rd Hole	Par 3, 175 - 190 yards.
	A straight tee shot of 175 - 190 yards on to a small green. It is possible to birdie this one if your tee shot makes it onto the green.
4th Hole	Par 5, 440 - 466 yards.
	A dog leg right over water. A tee shot of 200 - 230 yards will make cutting corner of dog leg possible. Avoid the trees and garden on right side of fairway near green.
5th Hole	Par 4, 332 - 347 yards.
	Slight dog leg left with out of bounds on right. Not a long hole but very tough approach to green from the sides. The green is long, narrow and raised with a slope running from back to front. Avoid the water to the left and the roadway to the right. Remember a penalty stroke plus distance when hitting your ball out of bounds.
6th Hole	Par 3, 130 - 140 yards.
	Straight away with trees on the right. Hole becomes more difficult with different flag placements. Garden to right of fairway is out of bounds and will cost you a stroke plus distance.
7th Hole	Par 4, 296 - 377 yards.
	The green on this hole is an island green which makes your second shot difficult. Blue tees create a dog leg right. Avoid the water to the right of the fairway when teeing off.
8th Hole	Par 5, 500 - 566 yards.
	Lay up tee shot of 150 - 190 yards to a water hazard crossing fairway. If you have the power and the nerve you might make it over otherwise we do sell ball retrievers at the Pro Shop. Garden to the right of green is out of bounds and will cost you a penalty stroke. Avoiding the water and the rough will make par-ing this hole a possiblity.
9th Hole	Par 4, 413 - 433 yards.
	Tough finishing hole with water crossing 90 yards before green. Out of bounds on right. Avoid rough along the right side of fairway.
